Destinations Travel Show came to Luna to help them shape an end-to-end online experience, introducing a seamless digital communication strategy. The goal was to encourage interactivity with visitors on show build up and also to create loyalty as a long term goal. The task included creating an exclusive travel club portal for members, designing a mobile friendly show website, producing digital advertising, generating e-newsletters and making cinemagraphs.
Destinations came to us with a digital shopping list, in the initial stages we met to discuss the feasibility of fulfilling their requirements and whether we could suggest any additional beneficial elements to their campaign.
After fine-tuning their requirements we created wireframes for the mobile website and the travel club portal. Once approved and tested we applied creative to these, meeting the vision for a personal approach to the portal, so members could log in to their own holiday space and customise their experience.
We introduced a series of cinemagraphs showcasing beautiful destinations available to book at the show. The cinemagraphs were used across social platforms and on the website to bring another dimension to the marketing aims.
We created a microsite portal for club members to discover new travel ideas, offers and advice tailored for each individual. The idea behind the portal was to encourage brand loyalty and allow the event organisers to constantly communicate with their audience.
Animated videos can help support different marketing aims, including growing brand awareness, improving search engine optimisation (SEO) and social sharing. We created a series of cinemagraph and time-lapse videos for social and online awareness.
